Governor-General David Johnston has awarded Canada’s top honour, the Order of Canada, to Mary Cornish, Chair of Ontario’s Equal Pay Coalition for her work advancing the cause of pay equity for women. It is great to see a lifelong feminist being honoured and reflects the work of many who have joined with the Coalition over the years to end pay injustice and close the pay gap.
