April 16, 2024* is Equal Pay Day. It symbolizes how far into the next year the average woman must work in order to have earned what the average man had earned in the previous year.

Protecting public services and closing the gender pay gap is the government’s responsibility. That’s why we’re telling Ontario MPPs to fight privatization and support women’s economic equality.

Show your support by emailing your MPP today, then spread the word with our campaign graphics!

*This is just the average equal pay day. For racialized women it’s May 19, Black and Indigenous women it’s June 1, women with disabilities it’s June 5, and Arab women it’s June 20.
