Five years ago, the Association of Ontario Midwives filed an application with Ontario’s Human Rights Tribunal to address sex discrimination in their pay. The pay gap for midwifery, Ontario’s most female-dominated profession, is at least 48%.
On September 24 the Tribunal will make its decision public.
